One thing I do enjoy is a glass of champagne. Chilled champagne to be exact. This is a new recipe I tried starting with the batter from Allrecipes.com and the glaze from Betsylife. Makes a perfect pairing with a glass of sparking dry champagne, typically a brut, or if you prefer a sweeter taste try a Moscato blend. I used Barefoot Bubbly brand, which worked perfectly well.
